World War II
As you might have guessed from the title of this subject, we'll be studying World War II. We'll start by examining the world at the turn of the century, through to World War I and the Sino-Japanese conflicts that laid the foundations for World War II. We'll then embark on an in-depth study of the War itself - the causes, the countries, and the consequences. We'll examine topics such as the role of women in the war effort, the Holocaust, study both the Atlantic and Pacific arms of the war and determine how it impacted Australians at home.
