Tasmania, 2011-2012
I love Tasmania. Australia is massive, and Tasmania is large, but I love how different environments are much more accessible in Tasmania than anywhere else in Australia (a little like the UK). This was my second visit to Tasmania, but because I travelled with people who hadn't been there before, I went back to some of the same places for the sake of a 'highlights' trip. I am planning another trip to Tassie, this time to camp and visit lots of National Parks - did you know that 33% of Tasmania's land is protected as National Parks? 61% of this protected land forms the UNESCO World Heritage Site 'Tasmanian Wilderness'.
